Curriculum Design
We are lifelong teachers, experts in our respective fields and well versed in the strengths and gaps of approaches to curriculum design: Understanding by Design (Ubd), Core Practices, Launch/Explore/Discuss (Guided Inquiry) and several major curricula programs (e.g., Eureka, Expeditionary Learning, Go Math, CodeX Core Ready, Wonders, etc.).
What We Do
We apply our expertise in research-based pedagogy in order to build coherent Common Core Standards and State standards-aligned curricula using a backwards design model (UbD).
We leverage successful teacher practices to model how to effectively position students as competent sensemakers and elicit and respond to student thinking in service of supporting teachers and providing all students with access to reaching the instructional goal and the opportunities that sustain academic achievement provides.
